A Masterpiece and a Work in Progress?

A Masterpiece and a Work in Progress?

Mental ill health can be so many things. Absolutely terrifying. The loneliest desolate place. It can also be just bloody exhausting. Especially perhaps when you think you’re better and suddenly boom. A panic attack or a huge wave of intrusive thoughts that leave you reeling like you’re about to be sick. So how can we understand the messy and contradictory ‘recovery journey’.

We cover a few things including:
  • Getting back on track
  • Being realistic and bespoke about what ‘getting better’ means to you
  • The balance between acceptance and striving
  • Being ‘the most sane insane person’
We’ve heard from quite a few of you recently and have absolutely loved getting your correspondences, questions and suggested topics. Keep it coming! And watch this space for more juicy topics and personal stories on our experiences of anxiety and intrusive thoughts!
