Mental ill health can be so many things. Absolutely terrifying. The loneliest desolate place. It can also be just bloody exhausting. Especially perhaps when you think you’re better and suddenly boom. A panic attack or a huge wave of intrusive thoughts that leave you reeling like you’re about to be sick. So how can we understand the messy and contradictory ‘recovery journey’.
